MULLAH NASURUDIN

THE WIT AND HIS HUMOUR

INTRODUCTION:

                                                Many centuries ago, in the wonderful land of turkey there lived a hard working merchant. He was an honest man, who prayed to god that he did not have enough money, but believed that his hard work would soon make him and his family rich.

                             The merchant and his wife had a son called Nasrudin. Nasru was not like his dad at all. He was very lazy and would go to sleep whenever he could.

          Nasru dad wanted him to be a mullah- a person who is very brilliant of doing things. To become he made him to go to the school of madrasa.

          Nasru was also a very intelligent boy. He would go to madrasa and learn things very fast. He had very good memories and used it well. He is also very witty and also will win any arguments with his friends. As he grew up and become very famous in the turkey and king also became very happy with it.

                   Nasru fame spread across the turkey, Persia and Arabia and bought him lot of fortune.

All of these made nasru’s life very exiting adventure. Now let us see about him.

1.      THE EARLY BIRD

Nasru was very intelligent and loved to go to madrasa school. But he was very lazy boy. One day his father went to walking in the early morning, while going there he saw that the bird got the earth worm for its break fast and then nasru’s father taught that we should say this to his son so he may get up earlier and while going there he saw a bag of gold coins and he took it and came home safely. He pored water on nasru so that he can get up. Nasru woke up asked why did he wake him up? So he said that when I got up I saw the beard getting the earthworm foe its break fast and while coming I saw a bog of gold coins and it was an heavy luck for me and from now on words try to get up early. So nasru after sometime he said dad that the earth worm also got up before the bird but it became an prey for it and when you got the gold coins would get earlier then you but he had lost all the coins so it is not good to get up in the morning and now you can see the nasru’s wittiness 

2 The first job;

                                     As his father was an carpenter he could not gain lot of money so nasru took up his first job and he promised that this will not affect his studies.So nasru father also agreed with him.

                                                                 He went to work with the rich land lords house, the land lord also found that he was very talented and witty and gave him gold coins.

                         One day the land lord had some guest and the cook said to bye him three egg so that she can make some dish. So nasru ran to the shop and return very late with some thing in his hand and when she saw it it was only one egg and she was very angry with it and she told him to go and get the rest of them and he ran and got only one the next time and she become angry and complained the land lord about this and he said why nasru and told him to do many work in the same time and told him bye him the other egg.

                         One day the land lord felt ill due to eating some foods in the hotel and he asked nasru to find an doctor so that he can feel better so nasru also went and fast as he could and called the doctor and the doctor came and gave some medicines and he was alright after some times and when he noticed that  four people was standing outside the door and he asked nasru that who was it so he answered that i was trying to make things more efficient i bought an chemist so that he can make medicine as soon as he want,i brought an priest so that he can pray to god for your recovery,and i brought an coal seller so that he so that he can build you fire as soon as you want. and the land lord asked who was the fourth person so he said that he is an coffin maker i thought that we might need him in case of doctor chemist or coal maker that they could save your life. the land lord burst out laughing and gave him an bag of gold coins.

3) A proud teacher:
                              Nasru became an magistrate and the king was very proud of the nasru and soon he became an Mullah and the courtiers where very selfish about his performence and they planed to make fool of him in front of the king and every one knows that nasru was an shy preacher,so they planed to make him fool in this way.
                      The next when nasru came to the palave so all the courtiers said that mullah is an intelligent person and we know that you passed out the madarasa in very good marks and please can  you preach for us. and nasru was very shy to preach and he said why do you want me to preach and you know that i was a shy preacher. So one of the courtier said are you scared that every one would come to know that you are not so intelligent then all??
are you going to deny the king that pleasure of hearing the speech?
So nasru planed to teach them a lesson and he said i will preach in front of you and he went to the center of the court and the king sat in his crown and saw the nasru with a smile,and started his preach that SO DO YOU KNOW WHAT AM I GOING TO PREACH TODAY in a louder voice so they replied that no we don't know and nasru stepped out of the court so the courtier asked that why did you get out without preaching and so nasru replied that until you have some idea about what aim going to speak and i will not be able to preach to you. so every one was shook at his answer.

                               Every one gathered and spoke to each other and said that wait a minute mullah nasrudin please come and preach to us and nasru also went back to the stage and asked SO OD YOU KNOW WHAT AM GOING TO PREACH? so they said yes we know and once again nasru went out of the stage and the courtier asked again that why did he get down of the stage and nasru replied that you already know that what i am going to preach so why do i want to preach and once again they where shocked 
                                 Once again they gathered and said mullah please come and preach to us so nasru once again went to the stage and said SO DO YOU KNOW WHAT AM I GOING TO PREACH so the courtier said half of the people know and half of the people does int know and again nasru step out of the stage saying that that make it very simple instead of me preaching to you, those who know what am i going to speak can share those who does int know what am i going to speak. On seeing this the king was pleased and handed him an bag of gold coins and nasru had tricked the courtiers
